The Leader in Ohio-Focused Diagnostics
Ohio-Focused Diagnostic Test Procedures from PRO-Ohio

Using PRO-Ohio: An Instructional Sequence

  1. Students Take the Pretest
Each subject area test takes about 1 to 1½ hours. It is suggested that the entire diagnostic proficiency test be given over several days near the beginning of the school year.
  2. Student Response Sheets Scanned
Scan sheets are scanned (or entered manually) and reports generated within days. The reports include class and student reports.
  3. Students begin work based on Class Rankings
Students start working on software lessons or other activities individually prescribed.
  4. Teacher updates class Grouping and student Intervention reports
Teacher charts class and individual student progress toward proficiency goals.
  5. Students take the Interim-Tests
Optional interim tests are given later in the year to measure learning progress and readiness for the Ohio Proficiency Test.
