Using PRO-Ohio: An Instructional Sequence
- Students Take the Pretest
Each subject area test takes about 1 to 1½ hours. It is suggested that the entire diagnostic proficiency test be given over several days near the beginning of the school year. - Student Response Sheets Scanned
Scan sheets are scanned (or entered manually) and reports generated within days. The reports include class and student reports. - Students begin work based on Class Rankings
Students start working on software lessons or other activities individually prescribed. - Teacher updates class Grouping and student Intervention reports
Teacher charts class and individual student progress toward proficiency goals. - Students take the Interim-Tests
Optional interim tests are given later in the year to measure learning progress and readiness for the Ohio Proficiency Test.
