What is PRO-Ohio?
PRO-Ohio is a Benchmark/Indicator-driven learning tool designed to help teachers prepare students for success on the OAT/OGT.

Why I should use PRO-Ohio?
PRO-Ohio reveals the Academic Content Standards AND specific Grade Level Indicators needs of each student and class before an Ohio Achievement test is given.

How can PRO-Ohio help me to become a more effective teacher?
PRO-Ohio saves teacher time and effort by generating a grade level indicators report which pinpoints class strengths and weaknesses.

What do schools use for a test?
Teachers use the PRO-Ohio diagnostic assessments in Science, Mathematics, Reading, and Social Studies. There are two levels of the test (Forms A and B) for each grade level.

What does the PRO-Ohio tests look like?
The test is in the same visual format as the Ohio Achievement Tests.

How much time does the student need to take the subject-grade level test?
Each subject area multiple-choice diagnostic assessment takes students about an hour.

What about open-ended questions?
After diagnosing specific weaknesses, PRO-Ohio then provides follow-up exercises emphasizing the writing component.

How often should students be tested?
PRO-Ohio recommends assessing students twice during the school year--in September to get a starting point, and 12-16 weeks later for a final review before the Ohio state tests.

Can I get a presentation of the PRO-Ohio system?

What about training?
PRO-Ohio provides orientation for administrators, on-site teacher workshops, in-classroom teacher mentoring as well as distance consulting.
